Matthew Levenson, MSW

Matthew believes that mental health and well-being look different for everyone, and that each person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in their journey. His approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, collaboration, and recognizing the strengths each individual brings. He believes meaningful progress happens when people feel empowered to identify their own goals, build on their strengths, and develop the skills and supports needed to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. He strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where individuals feel comfortable being themselves and taking steps toward positive change.

His areas of interest include mental health recovery, personal growth, building healthy coping strategies, developing independent living skills, strengthening relationships, and helping individuals navigate life's challenges. He is particularly passionate about supporting people in identifying their strengths, building confidence, increasing independence, and connecting with resources and supports within their communities.

Matthew brings a diverse professional background in social work, behavioral health, and human services. His experience includes community-based mental health services, psychosocial rehabilitation, care coordination, and supporting individuals and families navigating complex systems. He also has spent several years working in child welfare, where he has supported families, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and helped develop and implement practices that promote positive outcomes. These experiences have strengthened his ability to meet people where they are, build meaningful relationships, and provide individualized support.

Matthew holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His educational background and professional experience have provided him with a strong foundation in human behavior, social systems, advocacy, and strengths-based approaches to supporting individuals and families.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, exploring the outdoors, and finding opportunities to learn and grow. He believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change, and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they work toward their personal goals and build lives that feel meaningful to them.
