Samantha Brooks, MSW, LCSW

Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She holds a BS in Psychology and an MSW from the University of Utah. Her clinical background includes working in ICU/Trauma at a Level 1 Trauma Center, community mental health, and as a therapist at a VOA facility serving both voluntary and court-mandated clients navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Samantha was drawn to psychotherapy through a deep belief in the human capacity to endure, heal, and grow.

She specializes in trauma-informed care, grief, DBT, ACT, faith transitions, and religious trauma. Samantha has also supported medical professionals facing the complex demands of high-stress, high-impact work. Grounded in an existential framework, she helps clients uncover meaning from within, strengthen resilience, and move forward with clarity and purpose. Her approach is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based—meeting individuals where they are and supporting them through personalized treatment, psychoeducation, and individualized goals.

Samantha is especially passionate about working with medical professionals experiencing compounded trauma and grief, as well as individuals of all ages navigating depression, anxiety, chronic illness, hopelessness, or a loss of meaning. She brings curiosity, compassion, and philosophical depth to the therapeutic space, helping clients integrate identity, spirituality, and purpose into their path toward healing.
